Searching into different techniques for creating a design portfolio has made me reflect on my own that I had to create for my third year of studies during my undergraduate degree. I have wanted to recreate and redesign my portfolio for a while now but have never known how or what to include and what to remove.

One aspect that I will try to include in my future portfolios is the design process for each project, it has to be brief but convey the project clearly so a potential employer understand what I am trying to achieve with the project but also how I got to the final outcome. The design process was the running theme throughout all the articles, coming from designers and employers themselves on what they are looking for when hiring, " My thoughts on portfolios is just don’t do them, as a manager, I’m completely uninterested in seeing what you’ve actually produced...How did you collaborate with the stakeholders? What did you deprioritise and prioritise based on the goal or budget?"(Karolina Boremalm, Ikea and Deliveroo design leaders call out “old fashioned” portfolios).
